Few have mastered the art of a radical hair transformation like Zendaya. The actress and activist has flawlessly pulled off everything from waist-long locs to pixie cuts to stick-straight hair and brushed-out curls. But her latest in quick hair changery might just be her most fun yet.
In a video for Vogue inspired by the viral “100 Years of Beauty” series, the 20-year-old actress sports a wide-span of iconic beauty looks from decades past. One of our favorites? A bob-and-bangs combo that coincides with the most beautiful 1920s flapper-girl getup. The video also features her rocking big, hairspray-doused hair from the ’70s and ’80s, cropped dreads from the ’90s, and pinup beauty from the 1950s, among other stunning vignettes. For the latest decade, Zendaya wears head-to-toe black and is consumed by texting—a look referred to as the “text neck teen.” (Real.) Each of the looks couldn’t be more different, but the common theme among all the styles? Zendaya is a beauty chameleon and looks incredible in virtually anything.
But, we’ll go ahead and let her hair speak for itself. Catch all her beauty looks from the past century by watching the video, below:
